Hiking in the surroundings of Sucre means stunning views, colonial villages, decending into vulcanic craters, following acient Inca trails, having your lunch in old haciendas (the colonial mansions), admirering prehistoric rockpaintings, in short: a great and adventurous day in the Bolivian campo. Try it, you won´t be disappointed!

Joy Ride Outdoors offers a few different hiking routes. A car takes you out of the city and into the countryside. Once you´re at your destinations, an english speaking guide accompanies you on the trail, giving you all the information you want. For now, Joy Ride only offers one-day hikes. More-day hikes are planned for though and we´re hoping to start doing them in the near future.

What's the procedure

• In the bar we have a leaflet that explains about the exact procedure of booking and getting ready for a tour.
• What you should know for now is that you should always do your bookings and deposits the day before you leave and show up at the bar at 9 o'clock in the morning.
